The Secret to the BEST Macaroni & Cheese Ever!

Today I discovered the secret to the best Mac & Cheese ever.  Really.  And it came from a box!

I used good old Annie’s orange box and poured the pasta into the boiling water, set a timer, and proceeded to pull out the remaining ingredients.  OOPS.  We’re out of milk.  Now what?

So I figured I’d try extra butter.  We’re just making a creamy sauce, right?  Yeah, extra butter coats everything, but doesn’t liquefy the powered cheese.  A couple splashes of water fixed that.  Add in my frozen peas for good measure and… TA DA!  Best ever.

OK, in hindsight the extra butter may not really be a secret but it works!
